Moscow City Tour. The Kremlin & Armoury Chamber

Golden Ring. Sergiev Posad, Suzdal.

Considered by some to be the Russian Vatican, Sergiev Posad is the temporary residence of the Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church. Our tour starts with the Trinity St. Sergius Monastery (Lavra), built in the first half of the 1340s by the son of Rostov Boyar, Sergius of Radonezh, who remains one the most venerated saints in Russia.

Golden Ring. Suzdal, Vladimir. Transfer to St. Petersburg. (Overnight train)

You will visit the Kremlin with the Chamber of the Chrism, the Monastery of the Saviour and St. Euthimius, Intercession (Pokrovsky) Monastery, the concert of ringing of church bells (if possible), the Museum of Wooden Architecture. Guided tour of the village Kideksha. Visiting of the Church of Boris and Gleb (the interior), built by Yuri Dolgorukiy in 1152. After tour you’ll have a transfer to St. Petersburg, the second city of your destination within this tour. You will spend this night in comfortable train Moscow - St. Peterburg.

Museum of the History of Religion, Yusupov Palace

You’ll visit Museum of the History of Religion. Please, where you will see the history of Russian Orthodox. After we will go to Yusupov palace, another spectacular palace of Saint-Petersburg, belonging to the wealthy family of Yusupovs. It is notoriously known as a place where Grigori Rasputin, the closest person to the last Russian emperor Nikolai 2, was murdered by the Prince Felix Yusupov.

Kazan Cathedral and Hermitage State Museum

Catherine Palace. Farewell dinner

Today you’ll be taken to the Catherine Palace, another residence of Russian tsars, originally the summer palace of Catherine I. Dazzling interiors inlaid with gold and spectacular exteriors of Rococo style architected by Bartolomeo Rastrelli will reveal the utmost luxury of life of Russian emperors of the 18th century.
